Good for Wilhelm. They're talking again. It's stilted, but it's something. A push. He knows the kid showed up to the meeting like Lucifer asked. He needed Wilhelm to hear it all, regardless how cautious Kyle was about it.

The problem is--it's not even a risk of the Mark moving. Lucifer's sure of few things when it comes to Dean, but he's sure Dean won't pass it on, and he doubts the Singularity itself will shuffle the curse. The problem is--absent. Absent entirely from Lucifer's thoughts. There's few things Istredd doesn't know about and Lucifer's son likely being in Free Cities is one of them. There's not even a real reason he's keeping it held back. Maybe it's just one of the only things he has left as solely his.

Really, until he's certain it isn't all just in his awry senses, he doesn't want to humor the possibility and find out it was all in his head.

He just hopes beyond hope that Jack (nephilim) has hidden his identity. As much as that thought cuts deep, that might be the only thing that keeps him alive in Dean's vicinity.

None of this concern is available to Istredd and the only real response is an agreeable, Peace of mind would be nice, for once.
