Who: Alucard and [open] When: Early February Where: Cadens, Libertas, the Horizon What: Some closed threads, a newly opened park in Libertas, the Horizon, and odds and ends Warnings: None
Because having someone bleed on my floor after they've snapped, insulted, and otherwise been rude to me is a turn on.
[The note of hollowness is not lost on Alucard, but he'll ignore it for the sake of making the interaction normal. Or as normal as it can be all things considered.]
I do, yes. Being away from the city is a luxury.
[A true enough statement, although it's mostly because Alucard did not grow up around people. He doesn't voice that. Instead he considers the thigh, and flinches a little at how badly it is beat up. The first aid kit is placed aside for a moment, and he gets up only to return with a bucket of water and a wash cloth.
There's no warning as to when soap and water hit the wound. They just do, and Alucard knows it'll go over so very well.]
The sand needs to come out first, I don't trust it not to have gotten rubbed in.
[ ...well, it wouldn't be a deterrent for Vi, but different strokes for different folks. she doesn't amend as much, grimacing at the expression on Alucard's face whether it's empathy or pity or something in between. she can't deny she needs his help still, even as she recuperates from the blow of needing it in the first place. ]
[ her mouth is open to say something more once he returns with the pail, but it turns into an open, toothy snarl at the first stinging wipe of soap and cloth. ]
Shit, ow?! [ how she can manage to make one syllable sound surprised, angry, and threatening all at once. there's a fist that's white-knuckling into the pillow beneath her. ]
Yeah I can see why you live alone, these bedside manners.
[Alucard makes a point of not responding to the comment about bedside manner. Frankly, he knows, and he is trying to concentrate. He doesn't linger with the soap either - just a few good wipes and then onto a cream that has no particular scent to it.]
This will sting too, but it will prevent infection.
[No further warning, just a cooling sensation to go along with a faint sting, and then the bandages. Alucard makes a point of working quickly. Vi's attitude is not winning hearts and minds.
Finally, he leans back, sitting square on the floor.]
Done. You should be able to move around without issue.
