[ Julie actually finds the desert landscape fairly unpleasant. While she's used to wide open spaces, no trees, Kansas still had grass and flowers, four full seasons. Nearly her entire time in the desert before was in casinos, and everyone knows there's no windows in a casino.

Being in close proximity to Nadine and Jaskier's plants feels like a luxury now. ]
