Not to stop him but to keep him close, tugging slightly to pull him in more. He knows his first response is to run, to pull away and get away from that contact with the thoughts that he might infect Jesper, but he forces himself to hold his ground.
His jaw tightens at the touch, but he leans into it. Even if it causes a sharp twinge of pain.
"That's part of why I had to get out. They took me, Jesper," he hisses, sharing his anger with the other man, knowing he would understand. "I lost a fight and they took me and I can't stand that thought."
