He'd heard only a little about the Summoned that had been the first brought in by Thorne, but everything about that situation sounds like it had been terrible, and that--as well as the other factions' attitudes toward the Summoned--had been something in the back of Jayden's mind that he'd planned to learn more about after settling in.
