Gideon is not above eating weird things. Spending half one's time in the desert has made her a proficient hunter, and a month in the pit had left her resorting to somewhat desperate measures. Food is fuel, where it comes from isn't an especially big deal...and yet when that thing springs into being between them she takes a step back and grimaces.
"Oh, eww. Yuck. Naaaah. It looks totally gross and bad, like, what the actual fuck is up with that great big fucking eye?" it's gross as all hell, which at the very least makes it interesting, although not interesting enough that she'd be willing to try and eat it. Maybe if it wasn't staring straight at her it would have seemed more palatable.
The corridor reaches an aperture that leads them into a vast open space, metal grating running around the high points of the room, and upon which they're currently standing. Below is the concrete expanse of the training room, bare save for strip lighting overhead and a row upon row of weapons lining the walls. Mostly swords, but there's some offhand equipment up there too. Knuckle knives and daggers and the like. She's still not quite over the starfish enough to start giving him the grand tour, though.
"I mean, thanks? I appreciate the gesture? But you can go ahead and eat that one if you wanna."
