With at least one strong psychic attack, likely not much. It's a wonder if Josselyn's so-called gods hadn't taken a portion of her too. She may have just been a withered husk left behind, continuing to fall under the mind's previous directives. Lucifer had been tempted to crush her organs before all this, but with the guards watching and his power back to a flicker, it wasn't worth it.
He knew enough people would tear her apart in whatever way they could; it's why he didn't join in on the initial hunt to find her. He doesn't trust a lot; doesn't even trust a lot of people, but he knew the Summoned would retrieve her. They wouldn't stop until they did.
"Solvunn thinks this fixes their problems," he says idly. They are who he thinks this ritual was for, but it wasn't about penance and whatever nonsense they crowed.
He made no point to participate in any part of the ritual that Solvunn allowed the Summoned to join. He doesn't fault those that did, whether misguided, or seeking some form of clarity, or thinking they were aiding in this macabre justice.
"Put on the blinders so that the other factions look away again, distracted by their petty fights, so that no one sees their struggle."
He watches one last vulture disappear. Did the entity come because of Solvunn's will?
Or did it come solely for Josselyn?
"Hoping to create a smokescreen so that no one sees that Josselyn may've been right."
