"Kyle," he draws the name out. "Shut the hell up."
He does still drag the man to the dance floor in a way that he threatened to do with Istredd and didn't end up having to. He'd said fighting was the same as dancing and for him and Kyle it might be even more accurate. The most accurate statement spoken, actually.
He knows how little Kyle feels the words given how close Lucifer was to snuffing out his life, and even if somehow he meant them, they're annoying to Lucifer. So no matter what Kyle was aiming for, congrats, they stung. He's an extremely selfish entity and so what if there's a handful of people he doesn't actually hate. There's a handful of people he simply just needs and sees a use out of.
Kyle's on an amorphous scale where Lucifer doesn't know where he rests at any given time but Lucifer doubts it matters anymore.
Lucifer knows how to dance in a different sense than normal people. He's been in enough vessels of various backgrounds and lifestyles that they cross over in his Useless Knowledge Bank that he can put something together that makes sense. He can be graceful, he can fall into the cat-like smooth steps.
He does not. He pulls Kyle into step a bit rudely and will allow the man to lead if he tries to make a fight out of it, but whatever odd sweeps and gestures Lucifer currently puts them through are not kind.
But they're also not pitying, which is exactly how Lucifer looked at him seconds before this odd mimicry of dance.
