"Sabine. It's nice to meet you," is the quick response, ready smile staying, though she doesn't make a curtsy, and her smile curls a little in the wrinkle of her nose, amused at the newness of being given one. Quickly taking the extended book, Sabine starts leafing through some of the pages, looking between it and the woman as she keeps talking.

Sabine is very interested in Old Gods for personal and professional reasons, but the whole Arcana thing is definitely new. It's not that it doesn't have its uses and conduits—both meant and adversely exploited by what could reach back—at home, but she's not letting her knowledge from her world form her assumptions in this one.

It's a very different place. Every part of her can feel it.

"I think I'm interested in nearly everything," Sabine confides, smiling a little haplessly broad. "I only just arrived, really. I still feel like I have everything to learn and every direction it might be pulled on for. Any recommendations from someone who's been at this a while longer?"
