He barely registers Istredd's retreating, brief, flicker of jealousy over his own torrent of complete and utter bewilderment. He didn't exactly expect another slice of a blade from Kyle, not in such a public setting, but Lucifer's mind continually defaults to violence being the answer for Basically Anything that this was, quite frankly, more of a surprise than his brain can truly handle.

'This is for trying to murder me' is the only reason Lucifer allows Kyle into a space really only permissible to Istredd. The end result of that allowance only leaves Lucifer staring blankly at the space Kyle vacated with far more confusion at what the hell just happened than any divine being should be left with.

It takes a beat longer before he, too, leaves the dance floor.
