Lenore doesn't deserve this, that can be established from the start. No matter how gussied up magicks can make a man into something presentable (and red, of course) does not cover the fact that Dante is far from the type you would want to run into at a fancy party, let alone ask to dance. Dante himself has been nursing another glass of something sparkly when the lovely woman approaches him.
Dante points at himself with his free hand, looking left and right as if to make sure she really meant to approach him of all people.

Dante downs the rest of his glass and hands it off to some other poor sod standing nearby, who is definitely not help but seems to accept it none-the-less. Likely out of confusion.
Turning from awkward to actor, Dante lifts one hand to take hers and bows dramatically, one foot delicately pointing outward like a man of class. Or something.
"Ah...but to turn down an invitation from a woman such as yourself would be pure foolishness!"
