Wylan blinks at him for a moment, trying to make sure he understood him right. "Are you asking me to share a room with you?" Although it wasn't an ask as much as it was a command, that was the only thing that wasn't unusual about the request.

"Wouldn't you rather stay with Inej? Or Jesper?" Wylan wasn't even sure that Kaz liked him all that much, let alone enough to want to stay in close quarters with him.
