There is no particular tone to her voice when she says it - nothing to give reason to believe she would have any personal understanding. A fast, as it's currently being presented, and one that would make sense for her to bestow, considering the fact she is still the Summoned who has been in the castle the longest. I don't take it for granted she says, and Yennefer's brow arches. Because it sounds like there is more to that than a couple of months in Abraxas, an understanding that may or may not come from experience itself.
From her home Sphere, then? Part of Yennefer does want to ask, but the larger part doesn't actually think she cares enough. Yet. But it doesn't look like she will have to, as Sabine continues. "Has it?" She doesn't recall Jack ever mentioning a girl, Sabine, in any of their previous lessons. But Yennefer, of all people, know how little that actually means. Sometimes it is those who are closest to you that you speak of the least.
There is a moment's pause where Yennefer simply watches, as if the conversation alone is enough to reveal layers upon layers to a puzzle she had only begun to see. "I take it he's just as thrilled you're here as well. He was taken with the others, wasn't he?" She's checking, in her own way, to see what all Sabine knows and just how long she's been here, who she may have spoken to and about what. The girl approached her after all, and while Yennefer could easily just ask her what she wants, she is finding this conversation a lot more interesting than anything she might otherwise be wrapped up in.
