Arrival and exploring

Jayce may have been in politics for only a few days, but he had a knack for it, or at least in learning how to be persuasive quickly on his feet. In this case he saw an opportunity to do several things at once: possibly get them to expand their business, make new connections that could be relevant as a Free Cities representative, and finally visit Aquila with Viktor and enjoy the sights too.

Obviously, the latter is the most important, especially with a ring burning a hole in his pocket, but he is in no hurry either. Viktor only came here briefly in a terrible situation. It's time to change that and make positive memories. Plus Jayce is just relieved to be somewhere other than a desert. He much prefers beaches. Jayce carries their belongings to the inn first and then smiles at Viktor, offering his hand.

"Let's look around before we meet Mr. Marsh." It might help them to get a sense of the marketplace and the commerce Aquila is famous for before going into that. Also to see what they can offer as a business that not everyone has here. Hand in hand, he walks toward the market after a quick point of directions. Jayce has slightly more formal wear he brought for that meeting, for now he is dressed more casually.

"Okay, top thing you want to do here?" Jayce is enthusiastic about pretty much everything. The biggest relief for him though personally is that they were given a portal stone to go back if anything happened to Caitlyn. And he'll check in with her during the day to be certain she feels safe at home.
