It's been some time since Viktor and Jayce have pitched together--their Progress Day presentation seems a lifetime ago, at this point, but even before that Viktor was content to let Jayce do most of the public-facing work. Now, the nature of this place means that Viktor's presence at such a meeting isn't a hinderance to their work, so he cleans himself up alongside Jayce and prepares to present their work together.

That thought in itself is enough for Viktor to hold on to--to get him through something he might otherwise find frivolous or unnecessary. He's not dressed as nicely as Jayce, of course, though he's cleaned up and presentable. Unsurprising, however, that Jayce is the one fussing. Viktor turns to him and smooths his hands over his vest, straightening the lapel even though it's most certainly already straight. Nothing at all out of place.

"Perfect as always." Ordinarily, he might tease, but the last thing he wants to do is throw off Jayce's game before a pitch. Once he's confirmed that Jayce does, in fact, look incredibly presentable, he turns to follow Fallon's assistant inside, inviting Jayce to go first. "Shall we?"

Fallon stands with his back to the door, peering out the large window to the cityscape of Aquila that sets a grand backdrop to his office. He turns when the door opens, early he notes, and smiles at his visitors.

"Ah, gentlemen, welcome! It's no trouble at all when it comes to progress, wouldn't you say? Now, what have you come here to show me? I'll not waste too much of your time with pleasantry." He sits behind the ornate oak desk, his fingers steepled as he looks on with interest. The bag Jayce holds hadn't escaped his notice, and he's keen to see what they have up their sleeve.

Jayce gets right to it, which Viktor appreciates. In many ways, a business pitch is much easier than trying to prove some kind of superior intellect or truly innovative technology to someone like Aleksander, and he’s content to watch this play out until it seems relevant to interject. Describing multi-tools and their other offerings as part of a business expansion might not be as high-stakes as world-shattering as what they were attempting with Hextech back home but he looks proud anyway, if only because Jayce’s passion is fairly infectious.

Viktor takes a bit of a different tack. When Jayce offers him the bag, he speaks more broadly of what he hopes to accomplish, his own tools more specialized.

“I’m particularly interested in what we can offer to your artisans. I’ve developed a gyroscopic system that can be applied to any manner of tools, allowing for more efficient, more precise work.”

Which he will demonstrate, by what seems to be some kind of metal-welder around in his grasp—-the tool stays level and steady the entire time.

“Among other things. We’d like to establish ourselves here, in the interest of a mutually-beneficial relationship.”

Their presentation is taken in with an open mind and an avid curiosity as they both put forth their efforts, but most importantly, their wish to advance past weaponry. While war does tend to make for profits, Fallon would rather see commerce flourish above it. A well-productive society is a happy one, after all.

"You do our craftsmen and artisans a great service by thinking of their efficiency. Your multi-tools have the makings of a very lucrative business here in Aquila. If this is only a pitch of your able minds, I'm delighted to see what comes when given the right facilities and funding."

Fallon picks up the multi-tool, inspecting its functions before moving onto the jewelry containing Braerium. He glances up to both of them with an amused smile.

"You're both men of opportunity, much like myself. What do you say to my proposal?"

Viktor had known from the start that if they tailored their presentation to the specific needs of Aquila, that Fallon would have a hard time saying no, but there's still a little thrill at the praise. Jayce glances at him and Viktor offers him a smile in return, the shared exchange familiar--no different from presenting to someone like Heimerdinger.

Though, perhaps, with more understanding and success this time.

Jayce more-or-less says it all with the official request, but Viktor is happy to supplement.

"We'd also be happy to continue to invent for Aquila specifically--our work can evolve with the needs of your artisans and craftspeople. Your priorities are different than those of Cadens, and I think you'll find that Jayce and I are adaptable."
