It's possibly a very sweet moment that Jaskier walks in on, but he's so pleased with himself already -- with having prepped the party, and for the enormous, overly decorated cake Kol himself has produced, and with the gift he has brought, that Jaskier barely hesitates when he makes his entrance, his path directly towards Ciri.

Jaskier throws his arms over Geralt and Ciri both with a squeeze, thinking he hears some yowl of a small cat in the distance. Ah, well.

"The happiest of namedays, my favorite -- Ciri!" They don't have official titles yet, nor perhaps they ever will, and Ciri is his favourite Ciri, so it's not even a lie. "Don't tell me Geralt's done something sentimental when I hadn't even arrived yet?"

Geralt embraces her in return. For the first time, he is not thinking about anything in particular. Just her, here with him, and the fact that he is content despite all that's happened.

It seems she is, too.

He grunts when the bard throws himself upon them both. Coram makes a sad muffled noise, squeezing his small body between the tangle of limbs to escape the crush. He lets Jaskier hug them. (It's good to have them both with him.)

"I'm never sentimental," he replies flatly.
