Castiel slowly dying during those months, only to appear fine in the middle of the last big fight after the demon kidnapped Ciri. At the same time, Sam and Jack both slipped out of this place without a whisper or a bang.
It's honestly been far too much. But so has Jo's whole life. She wouldn't know what normal was if it punched her in the jaw.
