[Least complicated does not always mean satisfying, but Geralt is right in his assessment of this: very rarely do these things have a proper conclusion, tied up neatly with a bow at the end. Yet when it's personal, it feels like sandpaper beneath his skin, a frustration.

Dean Winchester. You may have crossed paths. [ He studies Sephiroth for a moment. It would be a lie to say Geralt isn't protective of Dean, but he also knows the man can fight his own battles. That isn't what he's worried about. ]
