Even if this costumed stranger (or not-stranger, as the case may be) has moth and butterfly elements in his outfit, it's true that there are many other outfits that are more obviously meant to imitate various animals. Thancred had found a full glamour the easiest way to mask his identity, and his smooth, formal voice also doesn't resemble how he normally sounds in any way.
He tilts his head at the accent. He isn't familiar with it, and has perhaps heard it from the Summoned here and there, but he suspects it's meant to throw him off. ]
Pixies do like to manipulate and influence dreams, so calling it a dream world does seem to fit. [ Is he speaking as a fey, or from experience picked up in another world? It's the latter, but conclusions will have to be drawn, and he isn't specifying either way. ] It's quite the gathering, but I'm not one to say no to a party, myself. I must say, I'm most interested in hearing the orchestra's arrangements.
[ That's more an answer from Aenc Thon than Thancred, as he recalls the way the fuath lakelord had danced around the battlefield like a maestro. ]

Pixies.
[ He repeats the word, a foreign one to him. Pronounces the 'ix' with emphasis, like tasting a new flavor. Whatever magic translates for them doesn't have an equivalent in his own language. He recalls pixie stix, a cheap sugar treat for children. ]
Is that a type of Fey where you're from?

But ah, perhaps he should have made more of an effort to present himself as one of the native fey people. He doesn't particularly mind if he's found out, though, and he does still plan to play his part and be appropriately mysterious. ]
That's right. They're one of the fey people who currently reside in the land of Il Mheg, though I suspect that will mean little to you.
[ It would only mean something to his fellow Scions, both who he's already identified here, and Geralt — who he told about them. But Geralt would have recognized the term already. ]
And what of you? Are there fey folk in your homeland?
no subject
Not like this, no. [ There's a hint of amused disappointment in his tone. ] Only in stories meant to scare children, and I hardly can remember them.
[ A side effect of having your mind and memory turned inside out. But he thinks he lost most of those stories long before any of that happened to him. ]
What do you think of our hosts? Are they like you expected?
[ Their neighbors in Nocwich painted them in a much different light. Kahlil had been expecting more sharpened teeth and claws. ]
