Kelson thought warming up drinks were just fine in the winter. Warming up drinks that melted your stomach were less fine. But...if that's what Kell liked? "Well I'm glad this version isn't destroying your stomach." It honestly didn't smell like something he'd enjoy but maybe he shouldn't judge it by the smell? Still he was just starting out, so he gratefully sipped his pretty, light tasting blue drink. This? This was nice.

"So it the taste depends on when the leaves are harvested? That is fascinating." He wondered about the outside influences, and what it would take to artificially produce such a taste.

"Either way, thank you for recommending this one. It is lovely." Kelson raised his drink.

"It is, right? I was wondering what's causing the difference."

Get him on a topic he's currently interesting in and suddenly Kell has a lot to say.

"That's when I've heard about it first. So, naturally, I did a little digging." As you do. "And learned that's it is mainly influenced by temperature. I mean, I know little about agriculture, so that's just my theory. But it makes sense. The herb for this is usually grown in the north of Nocwich, but transferred and cultivated further south, gives a mellower taste."

He has no real interest in herb cultivation, but he is drawn to all things odd and unusual. Kelson's interest made Kell feel he might have just met a kindred soul here. So he's not apologizing for his little unprompted lecture.

"My pleasure. I believe a lot herbal blends is woefully underappreciated."
