Stephen and I discussed the possibility of changing the memories on this orb to something from this realm and sending it through. It's not the most seamless plan... but I figured we could worry about that once we figured out the ritual itself.
[and since wanda is more of a 'hit it until it works' kind of person, it really shouldn't be so surprising that her train of thought led her to this plan.
she sits back, folding arms unto herself.]
But, yes, that would be the priority, as far as I'm concerned. What goal do you have in mind, Viktor?

[Viktor offers Stephen a glance at that. Of the three people here, he's the one closest to Ambrose, who is most likely to have what they're looking for. He's not, however, so naive as to think that the information will simply be offered, no matter how much influence Strange has at the castle.
So perhaps it's best that Wanda reels them back to the beginning. If they're going to help with this, then Viktor owes it to them to be forthcoming.
Besides, he knows that Wanda understands.]
Wherever I go from here, back to my own world or otherwise, I need to preserve my physical changes. Learning how to keeping our memories may be key to everything else.

Could be the key, yes. Or maybe we're talking apples and oranges here.
[Retaining memory across multiverses could be a good place to start, but it could also be another problem altogether different than retaining physical changes, too.]
It might be prudent to test this theory out with more than just a memory orb. But I'm a little hesitant to say that we should slingshot anything living there and back, outside of maybe... the local plantlife.

she won’t be the one to suggest ethically dubious decisions.
viktor’s goal sounds like it’s only a portion of what his real motives are, but she won’t comment on that. there’s a desperation sunk underneath the surface, and she won’t pretend she wouldn’t be (or hasn’t been) in a similar space under the circumstances; it’s already huge that viktor has stepped out of the free cities to talk with them.]
If… the spell to keep the memories intact is strong enough to withstand multiversal travel, then it’s a matter of trusting that it’ll work. [if they can’t really test it with organic matter.] Traveling with current physical changes— There can’t be two Viktors in one universe. There’s probably some [she gives stephen a glance] rule about that?
In any case, given how the Summoning rituals from all three factions take place within the same time frame every time, there’s likely some limitations as to when the spell can be performed at all.

[As in, he can’t be certain. In Kyle’s situation, his selves merged, more-or-less, the new memories simply slotting themselves in alongside the old ones. Not necessarily something Viktor wants to experience, but maybe that would be preferable to arriving back to the timeline he left, only to find that his former self is still there. Still, he simply doesn’t know enough to say one way or another. Kyle’s anecdotal case is just that, and can’t be used as real data.
The glance between Wanda and Strange does not go unnoticed. He’s not sure what they may have experienced in their own worlds, but he considers any information relevant, at this point.]
Perhaps it would be best to start with what we do know. It has to take place during a certain time. There's water--the medium in which the Summoned appear, and the arcana symbol of the person they want.

If there's a rule about duplicates in a single universe, it seems to apply to this one, at least. We've not seen examples that buck that trend just yet.
[Or if they have, they haven't known about it; gone flying under the radar, though that's a fairly large thing to have missed.]
Unfortunately, I think that's about the long and short of what we do know. Beyond the fact that the magic is kept under lock and key when it comes to Summoned nosing around. Water's a medium, yes, but I'm of the mind that it's just one more a giant portal that happens to be bridged with a fathomless... I don't know. Sea? When we cross over.
[If they can even use that. It might be irrelevant.]
So, how's the opposite work? A dunk in the "pool", instead of being dragged out of it?

Water seems to be the chosen medium with all the factions, but we both [stephen and her] know that reflective surfaces can be used to travel from one realm to another. Mirrors, puddles, polished surfaces for the desperate—
[sitting back, she glances at viktor.]
There's a book, too. One bound in leather. At least in Solvunn. I imagine it's for the spell. [just ceremonial, or is it needed?] I've looked into traveling the multiverse before. It's not so easy to open a portal to travel physically, even if sending one's consciousness is a different story. I've read that portals to other realms exist by use of powerful magical artifacts, and that one could use spells to alter the fabric of reality.
What if we created such an artifact?
[someone else can be the voice of reason for these lofty goals.]

Uncomplicates things, in some ways, he supposes, though he can't help but watch those glances exchanged between Wanda and Strange, and the knowledge that she seems to have about the multiverse. If they both worked with Tony, however, perhaps this is not too much of a stretch.]
I don't want to say you should steal it, but--
[Okay, maybe he's suggesting they steal it.]
How do you propose we create one?
