"Yep, you've got that right. It sucks that the cliche is true, but power does corrupt." It might not be power that corrupted the gods since they were powerful from the start, but it comes from a mix of having it plus many, many thousands of years where they stopped giving a shit. Julia is very concerned about herself in the future, if that is an inevitable feeling. She's still just a baby though, maybe she'll get lucky.

Julia grins at her. "You got it. We can meet in the Horizon for lessons and/or in Nocwich each month, I'll show you a bunch of things." It would be great to start a coven of a sort, or more lessons for people to learn spells. Then everyone can use the magic they were given by existing here. She hates people to be without training, there's comfort in knowing what to do with your gift.
