[ Steve's arrival into Wanda's domain is an accident. He'd decided to look into the Horizon after hearing people talk through the mind network about how things were strange there too, mirroring the odd weather in reality, only to find his corner of New York completely buffeted with rain.

As in, it was raining sideways.

After trying to find his own apartment and some shelter, he'd instead ended up in an entirely different part of the city. It didn't make sense, to turn a corner in Brooklyn and end up in Hell's Kitchen, and yet that's exactly what happens.

With that in mind, he assumes that this must be Matt's domain, but either way he's drawn to the one apartment building on the block that appears to have the lights on, everything else blanketed in the gloom of the storm.

By the time that he gets up to the apartment in question, he's soaked to the bone. It's only once he's dried off as best he can with a towel Wanda provides that he actually takes a look around the place; it's markedly different from the last time he'd been in Wanda's space.

Or is it Matt's space? Or both? He sees touches of both of them here, but these terrariums are definitely Wanda's. When she notices him looking, Steve glances back over, the towel she lent him currently draped around his shoulders. ]

If you don't mind.

[ While it's true that Abraxas throws him for a loop almost every other month, Steve's also used to that. It wasn't so different back home, sometimes.

Besides, this isn't something created by Abraxas. It's something created by Wanda. So, with a shrug of his shoulders, he reminds her: ]
I trust you.

[ Still, he will admit he'd figured this was just a neat thing to look at, like an exhibit at a museum or something. She's crafted some sort of miniature world, showing the sheer precision of her creation magic within the Horizon, but that was that.

Judging by what she says, it's a lot more than that.

Steve glances down at the jar now in his hands, noting the temperature and the hints of movement inside. Brace yourself, she says. He blinks over at her, but after he just made a point about how he trusts her, he decides that he doesn't need to ask any further questions. She clearly wants him to open it. ]

... All right. Then here goes. [ And with that, he unscrews the top. ]

[ Leave it to Wanda to somehow be able to make an artificial world within an artificial world, if the Horizon could be called that. Either way, it means that they're going about three layers deep, and Steve has no idea what to expect.

Where he finds himself is falling from a height, as if he's just leapt out of a plane with no parachute.

Thankfully, this is something he's done before. More than once.

Maybe that's why Wanda picked this one for him, but either way, he can't quite hold back a laugh at her reassurance. ]

Just another day for us, right?

[ Wanda can kinda-sorta fly, after all. They'll be fine.

Still, Steve does eventually shift his gaze downward, trying to pinpoint what awaits them far below, past the clouds. He is going to need to figure out where and how to land. ]
