I don't know if I would call it a hobby.

( the fact that wilhelm has decided to visit her in the horizon— well, it makes her happy. she's stopped denying to herself that the fact that she feels so strongly for him is that she feels strong motherly feelings towards him, though wanda knows better than to act upon them or be upfront about them. the teen has his own reservations regarding his own mother, as it were.

yet it doesn't make the occasion any less warm for her.

Maybe magical assignments? They're a work in progress, but— they're worlds in and of their own. We could visit one of them if you wanted to.

[Wanda has been a comforting presence in his life for about as long as he's been here. Although he doesn't get to see her all that often, thanks to the inconvenience of living in different territories, when they get together, they pick up right where they left off. She makes time for him; she makes space for him.

And although she's not nearly old enough for the part, Wilhelm sometimes wonders if he's getting a glimpse of what it would be like to have a mother who cares enough to see him and ask him how he is, instead of one who's all facades and cold walls.

At her answer, he tosses a surprised look over his shoulder.]
