End of the day, I want you to remember—Matthew Murdock, Daredevil, whatever you want to call yourself—I'll always love you.

( she pushes a hand onto his chest, rubbing lightly, warming him up a touch. )

We won't have to worry a thing with this love we have for one another. ( now, wanda lifts his hand, presses a kiss to his knuckles. ) I promise you as much.

( his voice is light, quiet. awed, almost. knowing something in your heart and hearing it as a reassurance are two things he apparently really needed.

matt sighs and closes his eyes, bringing his face close to hers. )

( so tenderly, wanda meets him halfway when he draws closer, presses a kiss to his lips—steady enough that she finds herself lying on her back, pulling him atop herself. a hand placed over his cheek, she revels in the silence that's interrupted by the sound of the storm outside.
