[Viktor already knows the answer--he hasn't stopped working, either. He just has the advantage of being able to do it inside. All the more reason to ensure that everyone who does need to venture out into the badlands is properly equipped.]

I'll let you know. I have business in Aquila and at the mining camp, and this has certainly made things...difficult.

[Not the weather, necessarily, but the unpredictability of it. The fact that it's clearly a product of the Singularity's latest agitation. He frowns, though it's unclear whether it's at that particular thought, or the sight of her broken goggles.]

[ She'll follow him to his work space, leaning on whatever convenient surface is nearby that won't be in the way or disrupt anything laid out on it. ]

I did hear something about the mining camp. You're building something there?

[ She has not been paying attention to the conclave things like. at all. ]

[Viktor plants himself on his rolling stool, then with a practiced motion of heel-against-floor, scoots over to one of the supply cabinets. It takes him a moment of peering into various drawers to find what he's looking for--a rounded piece of tinted glass. From there, he'll pull himself back to the workbench, setting it and the broken goggles in front of him.]

A medical clinic, yes.

[He's not in charge of the actual building, but he'll of course he'll contribute and provide equipment as needed.]

It won't get the children laborers out of the mine, but it will at least provide them with more resources.

Should be helpful. [ She contributes with some bland encouragement, since she doesn't really know the details. Something Viktor is helping with, and a clinic sounds useful. As his friend, Ciri can voice her support for his projects, at least.

Following him over to the workbench, Ciri tries to peer at what he's doing with the goggles. ]

[He doesn't mind the hovering, and shifts the stool a little so that she can get a better look. Viktor understands the anxiety of watching someone else take apart something that's important (or at least useful), though of course he has full confidence in his own abilities.

With a targeted press of both thumbs and a pop, the cracked glass comes out of its fitting.]

No, I'll just replace the lens.

[That's what the drawer full of, well, replacement lenses is for.]
