Apollo (OTA)
Apollo — Is he Apollo? Yes, that sounds right — is standing near the cabins, taking in the warm sun and the sweet scent in the air, and tries to remember what he's doing here.
There was something he wanted to do. Or see. Someone he wanted to see? Hm. His mind is drawing a blank, but it must not be important, because it hardly bothers him.
Well, whatever it is, he's glad he decided to visit. This place really is lovely.

"Hey, you found Camp." But then Will realizes he looks super confused. Ahh. First time?
"And you're totally drawing a blank aren't you." Will was tempted to have Apollo go back and come back in but....this was also an opportunity to see Apollo without his usual baggage. Unfiltered almost?
"What do you think?"

It feels like somebody's home. Or at least that it would be a nice home for somebody. It feels... cozy and safe, somehow, though Apollo can't fathom why.

"Uh, yeah. You did for a time too. In a way, this is really yours." Will held out his hand and offered it to Apollo, to pull him inside. Unless his Dad would prefer to stay outside around Camp, which was lovely too. And also, because of him.

"No, I think I'd remember something like that. But it does feel very cozy."
no subject
"You actually wouldn't. Something's affecting your memory. Trust me. I'm a doctor." Actually so was Apollo, kind of, but he doubted his dad would believe that in his state. So he just spread his arms and let his dad look around, although he wondered if he should make the hyacinths in a nearby window disappear or not. He didn't want to make Apollo sad for reasons he didn't understand. Thinking about it, Will decided to vanish the hyacinths, just in case, and replaced them with a vase of Apollo's yellow flowers. The same flowers that kept growing outside the clinic and Will kept...picking them. Gods.

They're beautiful flowers, though. Apollo inspects them more closely, then turns to smile back at Will — this time as a much younger brunet. It's hard to tell when the change happened, but Lester doesn't seem to realize anything is different.
"What do you call those?" He asks, pointing toward the flowers.
no subject
".....flowers?" He knew Apollo probably wanted a more specific name but....he was going to have to ask himself for that one. "Honestly, I don't know. They're sacred to you though. They only grow around your cabin. Or the clinic back in the Free Cities. Which is probably my fault. Do you like them?"

Will lay back on his own, sprawling on the mattress. He wondered why Apollo had shifted to the Lester form. Something about being at Camp that brought back unconscious memories? Wanting to bond with Will on a more peer to peer level than father and son? Whatever the reason, he was okay with it. Whatever his dad needed. At least this time he didn't need to explain toothpaste to him.
"Yeah, you spent some time here. It's home. Or, one of them, I guess."
