[yeah you absolutely do not scare him anymore Clarisse. You scare pretty much the rest of the Apollo cabin, but not Will. Will? Will is a bit dumb. Or maybe he just knew and loved you. He helps her limp back to a room and settles her on a nearby table.]

Love you too. And you were not fighting for your life. You're Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares. I bet if you went back there actually armed and armored no one would stand a chance.

[He took a step back to look at her, checking over the wounds visually before stepping back in and reaching out to touch her, a little bit of his power flowing outward to get a sense of her injuries.]

( okay, so she's being a little dramatic. but there was a moment while she was out there that felt a little too much like being cast into some random part of the labyrinth with nothing but a knife and her fists to defend herself. it hadn't been a good feeling, the familiar doubt that she might not be good enough for this creeping under her skin like a thousand tiny spiders. she doesn't really know how to respond to any kind of affirmation of her skill (briefly, she thinks will sounds exactly like percy, and that annoys her more than it comforts her), so she quickly deflects with a pointed: )

Well, duh. I'd tear that fucking place apart. ( and that's all she's going to say on the matter. she flinches like a wounded animal when he touches her, an involuntary response from the more feral part of her brain. will isn't going to hurt her, she knows that. she's still working on the whole vulnerability thing. ) So, how bad's the damage? On a scale of one to "you're a fucking goner"?

[ A little dramatic? Yeah, she was a little dramatic. But he also understood how naked a child of Ares could feel without a weapon and armor and not being able to fully defend themselves in a strange place. That vulnerability. Probably went against so much of Clarisse's very nature it could have been downright traumatizing. But she was here. She was upright, talking. All her limbs were intact. She was fine.]

Eh, like you shouldn't play chew toy on a daily basis. Most of it's superficial. You don't have any internal damage, a couple bruised ribs. But muscle, ligament and tendon damage hurts like a bitch. You've been worse after a bad Capture the Flag game.

[ Only Will would call someone being used as a chew toy superficial wounds. She hadn't even been stabbed or impaled. She had all 4 limbs!]

I'll clean out the wounds, heal up what I can and stitch together what I can't. Here, drink this. [Will grabbed one of Nadine's extra strength vitamin tonics and handed it her.] It's not nectar but....sadly the best I can do right now. Sound good?
