"If only it weren't just a weird psychic plane." It's gonna be great for the imagination, at least. She can test out ideas in real time. She loves a good sketch, but the tangibility of the Horizon is fascinating.

She hums thoughtfully. "I need more time to figure it out. It could be a bit of both? It sounds like the royals and mages sort of have an agenda about us. I know the bed is probably just to help win us over, and even though it's in the castle, it's still free. Where does everyone stay there by you?"

"It'll be a good testing ground."

It's definitely a thought she's already had of the Horizon - she doesn't know if she wants to create something stagnant here, not when it's so easy to shape. A baseline to adapt and change - now that sounds pretty fun.

Annabeth makes a face. "No. I don't get Camp vibes from it at all. I mean, after a certain point we're sort of free to come and go at home." Or maybe that's just Annabeth and her longevity, her deep connection to camp. "The Castle and Camp having expectations is the only thing they have in common. Thorne's way more restrictive."

Annabeth shrugs. "Safe enough. I haven't figured out what the point of their restriction is yet, because it's like they want us to be on their side and help them, but the rules are so... chafing."

She wonders if there's some fear, but she hasn't gotten the chance to really talk to some of the Summoned who've been around for ages like she wants to yet.

"Like, curfews are annoying. But we are a summer camp. Thorne has curfews on fully grown adults, which is a different level of weird to me."
