"That's all okay." Nadine nods along as Will speaks, understanding where he's coming from. Everything he feels is perfectly normal.

"I sort of picked up that you and your dad don't have the closest or most traditional relationship. It's okay to feel weird about him being here, and to not be sure what you want. It's okay to be apprehensive."

And it's important that he realizes that. There's nothing wrong at all with conflicted feelings, or being afraid of further disappointment.

"I know, and I guess I know that this is a good opportunity. To get to know him as him. Without the influence of the other Olympian Gods." Will paused, trying to think how to phrase what he's feeling, to put it into words. He was the son of the god of poetry and was having trouble finding words. It was almost funny.

"I actually had a pretty good talk with him." Will started out slow, feeling the words leave his mouth. "It just brought up a lot of different emotions, you know? I'm glad he's here, I'm glad I finally have someone to talk too about certain things but...I don't always like the answers I'm getting." That was a him problem, he knew. He had trouble accepting the darkness within him. Especially when that darkness could manifest things like swine flu or ebola.
