I've heard better. He's the god of poetry. Where's the emotion in it? [ maybe she's more on artemis's side here. but maybe she just likes artemis - she's the one goddess who annabeth felt actually understood the world below olympus on a more connected level compared to her olympian family. ]

[ she frowns when he says he's not going back, not sure if he's simply resigned himself to it or if there's an actual reason. she's curious, but she doesn't feel like she knows him quite well enough to really pry, even if she wants to. instead she idly trails after him towards whatever he's peeking at now. ]

Some of my friends from home are from my future. It's weird to think about how that works and how much it might go on. The monsters probably aren't going anywhere.
