I should probably admit I've also done boarding school on and off recently, but they weren't fancy ones.

[ with her strange academic record?? no way. annabeth has had no regular school consistency. she spent five years attending camp year round. her boarding schools collected the so called troubled youth, and she never lasted more than a year. ]

There were tons of kids who weren't rich, myself included, so. Kind of a mixed bag with real fear of expulsion.
