I think it has, yes. Lucifer's not doing well, but he's afraid if he acts out, we'll pay for it. He did establish a pleasant relationship with our new High Mage. My guess is he will attempt to use that connection.
I hate being separated from both of you. That's probably the real punishment right now.
Ah- so he can think when you're not there to do it for him. Why am I not shocked he's already moved in on the new line. Is Mace even a decent mage? We know he can act.
Istredd- gods, can you be serious about this. I'm still not convinced they don't plan to take your neck. And I'm still angry with you.

Yes, he must be a good mage, they wouldn't let someone be High Mage solely because of playing the bedmate of the former queen. Perhaps Lucifer didn't realize that he might have liked the ruthlessness hidden underneath without realizing it.
