I think that what makes me truly skeptical in the end is that in those 800 years that never happened, the fae were remarkably distant and unchanged. It makes me wonder about the nature of their connection to that damn rock and this world, and if they had some way of knowing what we were experiencing, allowing them to minimize their role if at all possible. The second part being absolute wild conjecture.

[If nothing else, Alucard is aware that his speculation on that end has gone from wild to absolutely ridiculous.
