Teddy’s usually pretty amenable to being dragged into stores. They’re totally over their head in most places with magical items, but turnabout’s fair play: here they feel at least a little more in their element, and Chris looks lost.

To be fair, some of the toys here are … for an audience that definitely isn’t them. On the other hand, like every even slightly nice adult toystore Teddy’s been in, there’s a staff member — in this case, a beautifully tattooed Lunae — eager to explain and make recommendations, and some of the options are, well. Really fun.

Teddy’s investigating a bundle of rope that seems to be a mixture of organics and shed fur, like the yarn in the marketplace: it’s strong, but soft to the touch. She looks up at Chris’s comment and laughs, tilting her own head at the dildo and making a yikes face.

“Sea cucumber?” Teddy offers and grins. “I mean, I don’t think there’s always a what so much as a why. Which I assume is so, you like a little pain with your penetration. That looks a little more like ER story involving a hedgehog than ribbed for your pleasure.”

He curiously picks up a curved toy with a flared base with smaller more rounded little rows of bumps. Teddy can’t quite tell if it’s a fairly substantial plug, or a relatively small prostate strap-on, but maybe it doesn’t matter: it could be both.

It’s some kind of reflective stone or glass, smooth and less weighty than it looks like it should be but still unyielding. Teddy holds it out. Chris might notice it’s warm, where Teddy’s hand was while the rest is still cool.

“This one looks like it might be fun…”
