[ Thancred, meanwhile, can't say he's surprised to see that so many of the Summoned have dedicated their last days here to helping with the commune. It will set his mind at ease, at least, to know that those who have chosen to remain behind will have a place here that's all their own, if that's what they want. It feels almost too perfect, how it all worked out, but he'll try not to spoil the whole thing with his realism for once.

He's on hand to help Himeka with any setup or serving of the food that she might need, but she knows that, and so for the moment he keeps his attention on Cid.

And then immediately regrets that, pulling a face as Cid makes a certain insinuation about things he might want from Himeka. That's not anything he wants to hear about his dear friend, and, yes, his sister by this point.

With a groan, he replies: ] Well, thank you for leaving me with that final thought.

[ Though at the mention of recipes, he does shoot a glance in Himeka's direction. ] Did you and Alucard ever finish that cookbook? [ It would take some of the sting away, were she to leave something like that behind.

Then Thancred returns his attention to Cid, arms lifting to cross at his chest. ] Oh, we keep busy. That's the way of a Scion. We might actually get a few moments to catch our breath, but I'm certain it won't be long before there's another adventure on the Horizon, eh Himeka?
