Nadine is right, though: it isn't to be relied upon.
He weighs the blade in his hand. Small, for him, but sized just right for her. Whoever crafted it, if it's as it is in the real world, too, they're skilled.
Or it's simply more magic.
"A little different than what we prefer train with." He sheathes it again and hands it back to her. "But we can work with it. The right weapon is only the half of it."

Nadine laughs a little as she takes back the sword. It is on the light side, but it feels comfortable in her hand. Ronan knows her well enough to have crafted it to her size and strength.
"But I like it. And it...it was thoughtful." The little details, like the pearl in the handle and the sheath. It's suited to her.
"There's no rush to start training, though. Whenever you have the time and inclination."

"We start as boys. You'd lift it fine. No, it's—" He makes a vague gesture. "A matter of make."
The slightly slimmer, lighter blade is different, as is the grip. But it'll make it easier for her to handle in the real world, given that only so much training inside here can carry over.
He tilts his head. "Come next week. Same time."
He needs something to do other than clean this place up.

Nadine buckles her sword back to her belt and stands. Having a solid date for the start of training gives her something to look forward to. It will be good for her, learning swordsmanship. How to better defend herself.
She reaches out a hand to lay it gently and briefly on Geralt's shoulder.
"You try and take care of yourself."
