[ When he says that she duly notes her Horizon also seems to be cobbled together primarily from memories and subconscious experience. She wonders what she'd build if she focused on it more... more distressingly it would seem that might require a peace of mind she didn't apparently have. Not something she's going to dwell on, least of all not here and now.

Where she would normally just invite herself to some exploration she thinks it's far more pragmatic to ask for either permission or a tour, especially when aspects of these Horizons could be personal... for all those memories and subconscious aspects. ]

I'd like to see more, if you don't mind.

[Alas, there is only one adorable Rio. Viktor gets the sense that this off-the-beaten-path sort of place is more what she's interested in than things like his lab or his library, and given their last conversation he's not sure he should take her to see anything he's actively working on, either.

Well. If asking for tours of other people's domains is a common activity here, then he supposes it won't hurt to get some practice in.]

[ She eyes the door built into the rock wall for a moment before taking his direction more to heart, out of the cave and following a more obvious set of stairs up the wall. ]

[No wooden door today! There's nothing beyond there, anyway--it seems that Viktor's mind has purposefully locked something away, at least for now. He's not going to address it, leading her instead to...a lift. Though she is, of course, welcome to take the stairs, Viktor will not be, and he calls to her from the elevator a few feet away, instead.]

[Maybe he can explain the Hexcore better if she can actually see it! Wouldn't that be something.]

[ A lift, praise the Chozo. Not that Samus isn't opposed to stairs but i don't think any stairs actually exist in metroid everything is elevators elevators are practical and more convenient; especially, she imagines, for him.

She gets in with him and gives him as much personal space as possible while keeping her own. ]

You'd have access to something more impressive than pen and paper in there, I hope.

[ More a remark on the versatility and seemingly limitless capabilities of these Horizons. She likens them to Virtual Reality or Simulation or some kind of holographic training area... only in the user's mind. Augmented telepathy. As close to reality without actually being it. He could do whatever projects in here he'd want and not be limited by the stifled by this planet's native technology. She expects to see something interesting in his lab. ]

[The lift isn't that big--maybe enough to hold four people, tops, but Viktor doesn't seem to mind the relatively close quarters. He's still not sure if it's a good idea to show Samus the Hexcore, given their last conversation about it, but he can't deny that she knows more than he does, and it might be a good idea to let her see it, and offer advice in turn.

She's right, of course, that Viktor is enthralled by the Horizon simply because of its lack of limits.]

It's a useful testing ground for things I would not have access to in the real world. Also, I don't have to worry about wasting resources. Or, uh. Property damage.

[Maybe he's been blowing stuff up, in here. The lift comes to a stop inside the wall, and the door opens into a long hallway.]
