Ciri's lantern sways a little as she turns suddenly to look over her shoulder at Jesper, staring for a brief moment before she composes herself and turns her eyes ahead again. But this time, she is listening closely to his stories, not so distracted that she'll lose her way but definitely (secretly) paying more attention to him than not.

The Sun Summoner. Alina. Her mind is racing, the sudden realization that Jesper and Alina are from the same world making her far more interested in Jesper than any of his antics so far have encouraged. (He gets a few points for being kind to the children, at least.)

Ciri doesn't want to distract the kids or give anymore more to think about right now, so she keeps her mouth shut. For now, she leads them forward, making her way finally to the butcher shop he indicated. If all goes well, they'll be able to drop all the young ones off here and let Terry deal with them in the safety of his own home rather than having them lead them around in the dark further.
