[the trip from the primary settlement to something like a coastal area in solvunn was expected to be a several-days situation. wanda is promised as much by the kind solvunnites she asks a map from, though she is warned to try and not stray too far. the other settlements and their surrounding areas, it seems, are a little less kind to those not accustomed to their many different features. nevertheless, it is a trip that wanda considers important to make—mostly because of the company she would keep with thane and how the coastal weather would do him wonders.
with two horses and supplies for several days, they are off. conversation is easy, the company enjoyable. that, and the fact that being able to journey outside of the primary settlement allows wanda to see what solvunn really offers, even if it a load of nothing.
their destination is a coastal spot by the hydra gulf (a name that brings amusement of the dark kind to her), and she knows they are there with her nose, first; the salty breeze hits her face like a rejuvenating wind, and she can't help her excited smile as she turns to look over at thane.
in no time at all, they have reached the rocky shore. wanda is off her horse, now, and guides it towards an area where it can graze; no need to tie them up, honestly, as a small spell with her magic will keep them mindful enough to not wander off without their riders.]
