Viktor isn’t going to let this go—he’ll want to talk about it later, but given the unprecedented situation, he needs to prioritize. It’s likely that they’ll be barred from going to Libertas right away, but that doesn’t mean they should sit idle. Luckily, Jayce’s moment seems to have passed and they can get to work, which is what Viktor always wants to be doing.

“It would be stupid of them to kidnap us here and refuse our help when it’s most needed.”

Now, with real war finally looming, Viktor is pessimistic about what the government wants from them. He’s glad, at least, that he hasn’t provided them with any innovations that will further the war effort, now that it seems to be a reality. Viktor is all business.

“We should contact Nadine. I imagine she’ll be assembling supplies. Any tools we can offer should be consolidated and prepared for transport.”
