He had to see every inch of it. And in such a big place he didn't expect to find a familiar face so soon--and one that seemed a bit long. Nadine was sat on the wooden steps and didn't look like she was having a great time. Jack wasn't sure how that was possible because it was a wonderfully gloomy day out and the leaves were changing!
"Nadine, I've found you again, looks like." Jack lifted a long arm to wave to her from across the way.

"Hey. Welcome to my little piece of New Hampshire. Or my idea of New Hampshire, anyway, this isn't a real place. Just little bits of a bunch of real places." And her own idealization. But it's familiar and comfortable and helps to recharge her.
She sorely needs the recharge right now.

And he left her there to stride over to it. The skeletal horses called to him.

Nadine has seen epic vistas, fantastical realms, and even space. Small town New England doesn't quite compare. But she likes it, and it's hers.
"And then there's that. It was part of what I made when I couldn't remember anything. I kept it. I don't know, something about it..."
It's sentimental, really.

Nadine stands and crosses to her little carousel. It's morbid, she knows it is, but she likes it. Can still remember Geralt riding it, when neither of them had known who they were. And for whatever reason, it's a part of her. She'd made it, it came from her. Anyway, she doubts the giant skeleton man is going to be bothered. Unless he found it personally offensive in some way, but clearly he doesn't.
"It doesn't go that fast, but it goes. Here." She hops up and moves to the middle, to where the switch is. She gives it a flip and the gears inside begin to move, light circus-esque music beginning to pour out of the speakers.
The horses all have saddles on their skeletal backs, with stirrups to make climbing up easy. With a practiced ease, Nadine grabs a bit of bone and hauls herself up onto one of the mounts.
Carousel horses are much easier to get on than real horses.

Jack has to crouch a little under the carousel's canopy and he stalks up to one of the horses with a silver theme to its tack. He seats himself and tries to angle his knees in a way that won't interfere with the other horses.
"Will we be competing for a ring? I warn you, I'm very good at snatching it." He gives Nadine a playful grin.

"I find it relaxing, honestly." Even with the skeletal horses. She likes them. It's not like they're real skeletons, just...decorative. "That's probably a little weird, but...I don't know."
Of course, Jack the literal skeleton probably doesn't think it's weird at all.

If only he knew how busy they would become.
"Let's go!"
