[ When the man comes in, Ciri of course notices as well -- and at the same time chooses to ignore him entirely. So she's a bit surprised when Jo actually tries to catch his attention, and Ciri is forced to turn her head to actually look at him as he approaches. Her lips purse.

[He catches the look and debates turning down the invitation, but quickly decides not to. He has no reason to avoid Jo's company, and he's hardly intimidated by the woman, even if she did turn out to be a very good fighter.
