There's one fact they've all been consistently ignoring for months: simultaneously, they're both taking up too much space at Mag's now that there are five of them, and at the shortest of them, there two months and the longest, over a year, there's not near enough room for them there. They're tripping over each other, and everyone else is tripping over them. The vacation of the Sweet Ship Lollipop Arcanus Enforced Kidnapping only made that even more apparent as they were shoved into even smaller shared spaces.

Which is what brings them to today. Where they are—the whole kitten caboodle, cat herding, redwood tree too tall, lot of them that Jo has refused to let anyone get out of for anything—scouting out a house to buy.

"I don't love any of you enough to live in that little space."

Sam squints at the description on the listing. "'The roof leaks, the floor creaks, and there's a terrible draft, but this one bed, one-and-a-half bath home is very open concept. And by that we mean the inside is open to the outside because several of the windows are broken...' Well, at least they're honest. But I think the 'half bath' might just be a hole in the ground."

"One drunken night and Dean's tumbling off that cliff. I also say no."

"Attaching a means of self-powering the domicile with clean energy in an environment known for high winds, like a desert, is admittedly ingenious.

But no. Dean would definitely die."

"Just me, or does the rest of that somehow look like a large candy?"

"A bit too... Hansel and Gretel, yeah."

"I like it though." Come on the kid's gonna like a place that looks like candy.

"All that aside, it seems... structurally unsound."

"I can't tell if they couldn't make a bigger triangle proportioned, or that right roof it one good storm from caving in."

"It's like they kept sticking on bedrooms for each person who came over and never left."

"I kind of like it. But the chickens would have to go."

"I wouldn't mind the chickens. They may provide stimulating conversation in what can sometimes be a vacuum."

Cas gets a laugh Jo can't smother fully and look of delightfully surprised appreciation.

He spends a little too long in front of this one, hands on his hips, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"I can't put my finger on it, but, uh... I don't know, I kinda like it."

Sam clears his throat but says nothing.

"It might be a bit close to the neighbors, but you can't beat the convenience of the location. No room to expand, though."

"It never came up in our notes earlier but given the whole dessert thing. Are we going to need a stable eventually for everyone to get around? Like do we want to own horses eventually, or just keep renting them every month?"

"I like the roof."
