His borderline petulance at her use of the word ‘order’ is amusing, but other than a hidden smile she doesn’t comment further on it. Only nods her understanding and noting that very specific tone of disgust. She understands so much more of him now than she ever thought she might, back in Ketterdam.

“I can handle it,” there’s no snipe to her words, because she knows he’s not implying that she couldn’t, only minding her newly healed injury.

She won’t need much in terms of getting ready, already dressed for the day anyway. She’s not sure there’s much else to prepare. “I’m ready to go whenever you are,” she says, pulling on her boots.

He nods at that, understanding. He wouldn't assume she couldn't but he also wouldn't have her hurting herself again. In the end though, he trusts he to be clear about things, though he thinks she could certainly use time out after all that had happened.

"You always have been," he says, his expression lifting in that small way he often did with them these days. It wouldn't be seen as a smile by anyone else, even if that's what it was.

"We'll be using the portal they have set up." He pauses before adding. "Could you imagine if we had the capability of creating those back home? Would have ended the hold the Fold had rather quickly."
