A. WINTER WELCOME
The current avalanche of the wrong Summoned into Solvunn is greeted by a rather cold and bleak winter morning. The locals are quick to try and help, offering lodgings and warm clothes for those that otherwise prefer to explore instead of staying inside. Those originally summoned into Solvunn are likely to be around, lending a helping hand should it be needed.
Despite the odd circumstance of arrival, the Summoned are not kept to one singular place. They are free to explore the place and become acquainted with the locals. One could stay in the Primary Settlement, venture towards the many different shops and homes and farms; venture a little further out towards the inn, or to the lakes where the treehouse is; or make the proper travel arrangements to go to the Secondary and Tertiary Settlements. They will be welcomed in all the settlements in a similar fashion, and—as is customary with the Summoned—be asked to help around, be it with repairs, finding lost livestock, checking up on shrines, and any other task to help abate the woes of winter and the trouble caused by the earthquake.
One warning remains the same, though: do not stray away from the paths. There are monsters out there beyond the border of the settlements, so it would be best to travel in pairs, or stay within the realm of safety.

B. TREEHOUSE PIT STOP
The fate of the Summoned in Solvunn, like in the other territories, is not to be too far away from one another. The commune is small, though, which allows for a stronger bond; now, with so many gone and swapped elsewhere, it's a little more difficult to know where they are all at, currently, within this territory. Wanda tosses the idea around, to get people to come to the treehouse to know of the place. It's closest to the Primary Settlement, and, from here, the Summoned can find a path to wherever they deem best to go to—back to the Primary Settlement, towards the inn, or maybe even further south towards the Secondary Settlement.
The newly arrived Summoned are free to explore the space. They can step into the garden and explore the edges of the forest, or even greet Eli the goat and Clover the horse out in their sheds, though they will expect an apple or another treat for their troubles. An orange cat will follow the new strangers about, curious, and demanding attention, or even leading them further inside the treehouse. It is warm and cozy inside, and the different stairs will lead up to the different floors, doors opening up onto balconies and towards walkways across trees, to netted landings to look about. In the main house, some rooms are locked, but Wanda will let everyone know that they are welcome to make use of the amenities and to sit around if they want.
Something smells really good, coming from the kitchen, though. Carmy has been here for a couple of hours, cooking his anxiety away. Stepping inside the kitchen, snacks can be taken, but outside will be an area set apart, thick blankets streaming down the ceiling to enclose the space and keep the winter cold from affecting the dining experience ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ). Anyone can come and go, sit down, and then step away; a hearth at the side keeps the inside warm enough to cozy up.

C. WILDCARD
You are in Solvunn now. Live your best goatcult life while you're here.

she cuts short her trek, stepping towards the bushes to meet the man halfway; both his hair and shoulders are soaked with melted snow, small specks of it remaining. )
Thanks for the assist.
( delicately, once close enough, she draws her hand close to the hen he holds, and casts a quick spell to put it to sleep. it closes its eyes and tucks its head against his chest, on his coat. )
That should do it.
no subject
Are you able to do that with people too?
[ Or cats. Not that he has any intention of bringing Bob Cat to Nocwich any time soon. He had proved himself quite the escape artist (quite like his father) and Cassian doubts that anyone would blame him for not wanting to pursue a slippery cat through the streets and buildings. Again. ]

( she teases, tilting her head to the side, then leveraging her weight to her left foot as she moves on back to the designated path. they have got two out of the three chickens, and that will be a farmer appeased, and perhaps some eggs gifted to them for their troubles. )
I don't know why it isn't all too surprising to see you come out of some bushes.
( assuming he'll fall in step with her— )
Are you staying here in the Secondary Settlement?
no subject
I sleep like a baby.
[ Which is a bold faced lie. He can fall asleep easily enough, whether or not it's restful however is questionable. He's been in Thorne long enough now that there's plenty of apothecaries (not to mention Yennefer who lives down the road) in Nott that had any number of potions and herbs to help him soundlessly sleep if that's what he wanted. Ever the paranoid man however, he's never really considered it. Though he has been taking supplements at River's behest as of late. The snow crunches beneath his boots as he begins to follow her back onto the path. ]
The Primary. I'm at the inn. Villagers offered to house us, but I'd rather have my own space.
[ Which again, has only a little to do with not wanting to be a burden and definitely a lot to do with his lack of trust. ]
Percy mentioned your treehouse is nearby?
no subject
she noses at the air, motion somewhere west of where they are walking towards. )
It's up that way, by the lakes.
( the chicken in her arms clucks, relaxed. )
We can go up that way later and check out the walkways. If you want your own space — this is a lot more freedom than what you get in Thorne generally, isn't it? But, you said you moved to Nott recently, with River?
( where is the girl, anyway—? )
You didn't leave her in the bushes, did you?
no subject
It seems that the nod was both in confirming that he understands the direction and agreeing to seeing her home. ]
I'd like to see it. I haven't been in a treehouse in a long time.
[ And the one that Wanda and company were in was probably vastly more advanced than the haphazard one that they'd put together during his childhood on Kenari. Now isn't the time for reminiscing however as the topic turns to the subject and person that it involves. ]
Moved isn't how I would describe it. We snuck out when we saw an opportunity. [ But yes, they did move to Nott. At her last question he offers her a look and a dry tone. ] You know she's her own person. And a teenager.
[ Which says enough without having to explain further. ]
no subject
at cassian's dry tone, though, she can't help but try her very best to hide her laugh. )
Fatherhood's not that easy, is it?
( it's amusing, really, how this is not something she would think fits cassian's character, and yet— )
Does she like it around here at least?
no subject
[ Wanda's observation however isn't unfounded. They do spend a lot of time together. They live together and he's taken it upon himself to look after her even if it comes at a risk to himself. ]
She does. She's taken to the goats.
[ Though he has his reservations about River and her ever curious mind and what that could mean being so close to the gods, but he doesn't say so. And in spite of those reservations there's a fondness to his voice that seems to surface exclusively for her. ]
I wanted to talk to you about that. About her staying. I don't know if this is permanent but even if it isn't, this place might be the best place for her.
