A. WINTER WELCOME
The current avalanche of the wrong Summoned into Solvunn is greeted by a rather cold and bleak winter morning. The locals are quick to try and help, offering lodgings and warm clothes for those that otherwise prefer to explore instead of staying inside. Those originally summoned into Solvunn are likely to be around, lending a helping hand should it be needed.

Despite the odd circumstance of arrival, the Summoned are not kept to one singular place. They are free to explore the place and become acquainted with the locals. One could stay in the Primary Settlement, venture towards the many different shops and homes and farms; venture a little further out towards the inn, or to the lakes where the treehouse is; or make the proper travel arrangements to go to the Secondary and Tertiary Settlements. They will be welcomed in all the settlements in a similar fashion, andβ€”as is customary with the Summonedβ€”be asked to help around, be it with repairs, finding lost livestock, checking up on shrines, and any other task to help abate the woes of winter and the trouble caused by the earthquake.

One warning remains the same, though: do not stray away from the paths. There are monsters out there beyond the border of the settlements, so it would be best to travel in pairs, or stay within the realm of safety.

B. TREEHOUSE PIT STOP
The fate of the Summoned in Solvunn, like in the other territories, is not to be too far away from one another. The commune is small, though, which allows for a stronger bond; now, with so many gone and swapped elsewhere, it's a little more difficult to know where they are all at, currently, within this territory. Wanda tosses the idea around, to get people to come to the treehouse to know of the place. It's closest to the Primary Settlement, and, from here, the Summoned can find a path to wherever they deem best to go toβ€”back to the Primary Settlement, towards the inn, or maybe even further south towards the Secondary Settlement.

The newly arrived Summoned are free to explore the space. They can step into the garden and explore the edges of the forest, or even greet Eli the goat and Clover the horse out in their sheds, though they will expect an apple or another treat for their troubles. An orange cat will follow the new strangers about, curious, and demanding attention, or even leading them further inside the treehouse. It is warm and cozy inside, and the different stairs will lead up to the different floors, doors opening up onto balconies and towards walkways across trees, to netted landings to look about. In the main house, some rooms are locked, but Wanda will let everyone know that they are welcome to make use of the amenities and to sit around if they want.

Something smells really good, coming from the kitchen, though. Carmy has been here for a couple of hours, cooking his anxiety away. Stepping inside the kitchen, snacks can be taken, but outside will be an area set apart, thick blankets streaming down the ceiling to enclose the space and keep the winter cold from affecting the dining experience ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ). Anyone can come and go, sit down, and then step away; a hearth at the side keeps the inside warm enough to cozy up.

[ Nanaue has all but forgotten the original purpose of this meeting. There is, and has only ever been, cat.

He gives James Sunland another blank-eyed stare, then looks down at his kitten. It has begun to purr, though whether this is because it enjoys the manshark's gentle pets or is an attempt to self-sooth through a moment of terror, who can say? ]

YOU NAME... KIT-TY...

[ Maybe that should have been obvious from the start...

He looks to James, as if requiring from him confirmation that this is a good name. ]

Huh....

( there isn't much for him to say or argue with here because frankly-

he's still debating on whether or not this is all some bizarre hallucination, another machination from that town but really, when was the last time he saw an actual pet there?

so for his sake, and the person before him, he decided to just keep things easy and simple. lest he argue with him further. )

Let's name it....'Frank'?

( or kitty, he could also name it that. )

FUURR-RANK?

[ He was naming it KITTY! His poor grammar has caused some confusion, but Nanaue considers this other name, then gives James Sunland a knowing nod. ]

NICE FUR-RANK. GOOD FUR-RANK.

[ The kitten seems to have no opinion, but it does spot the feety fish as three of them run between James and the manshark. Leaping out of his arms it gives chase, pouncing on a fishy victim. ]

( if nanaue seemed happy enough with the odd name, then who was he to question it really? what did seem to trouble james was the subject of his wife, mary. he was more than assured now that she most likely wasn't anywhere in this world or any of its territories but frankly if that was because he had done some effort to confirm it or that was just his negativity speaking was up for debate.

so as the kitten jumped off to chase the feety fish, he shrugged a bit and returned his attention back to nanaue. )

Yup, Frank. Listen, did you end up seeing Mary? The lady I drew a picture of?

( he's sure this will get him nowhere, but he held up his end of the bargain didn't he? )

EH......

[ Oh.

Right. ]

NO... ?

[ Although he poses this as a question, James Sun-land might be able to deduce that no, the manshark has not found a woman named Mary. There's a small slump to his massive shoulders that might give away that he expects James Sun-land to be upset with this. ]

( there's a small part of james that already knew nana wouldn't quite find mary, much less try to find her. while he isn't upset with him by any means, he seemed rather sullen by the answer, more upset with himself than anything.

when he thought back on it, did he even want to find her? didn't he hate her at one point for what that damned disease did to herβ€”

but he was prodding at memories he had hidden. so for now he simply shook his head and sighed, waving a hand at the manshark before him before turning on his heel. )

Don't worry about it, you just enjoy your new cat.

( and before he fully walked off, he turned his head once more before forcing a smile. )

And make sure not to eat it.
