[Being able to joke is a good sign, at least. It's a stark difference to her demeanor just a few minutes ago; if Stephen can manage giving her that brand of comfort, even if it is in innocent humor at his expense, then he has no qualms about it.]

How about I make you a deal? You drink one of those after I leave, and I'll come to your classes when you're undoubtedly feeling better. You can pick it apart then, in front of everyone else.
