[ yennefer has not had reason to spend much time in the horizon up until this point - between her interests holding outside of the illusionary space, to the fact she could not, actually, make her way inside of it, it had been seen as a mode of communication and very little else. which, of course, now meant that with the lines back to the singularity opened enough for her to really spend time here - as well as the fact her body is still healing, still needing rest, with a restless mind.

she's taken to wandering, through domains, across the field that surrounds the singularity. she finds that in a lot of ways, it's helping her feel less trapped in the castle, less trapped in her weak body, and it does help.

when she finds herself along the edge of what appears to be a garden, the plants and wildlife appearing both out of place and directly in place, looking deadly and protective and strong. different is a great way to put it, and it's part of the reason yennefer slows to a stop to inspect it, not only realizing she does not recognize any aspect of these plants, but that there's no reason she should, that they are creations of the mind, rather than anything from her sphere.

the sound of hennessy's voice has yennefer looking up, watching the other woman approach through the foliage, and ah, yes, that would make sense, wouldn't it? that this would be a creation of hennessy's own making. ]

As it turns out, the hospital bed is incredibly dull. [ yennefer has no idea what part hennessy may or may not have played in the assignment, but she does pick up on a level of...tension is probably the best way to put it, under the skin of the other woman.

yennefer gestures to the wildlife. ] Your work, then?

[ Hennessy can't quite manage her usual level of nonchalance once Yennefer reminds her that she's still suffering the consequences of Hennessy's mistake. Not only hers, but she can't help but wonder where the line was. If one more person had cooperated, might things be different? She hasn't asked anyone who would know; plausible deniability is how she sleeps at night, when she does. ]

Everyone's got to have a hobby. Mine's weird plants. If you see any you like, though, I'll bring one by. Liven up your room a bit.

[ She could dream a lot of things, but she's not sure how much her help would even be welcomed. Yennefer struck her as someone a bit like herself in that respect. ]

[ it is interesting - the longer yennefer stands here, the more she gets that feeling. that something else is going on, that hennessy is distracted by more than just the horizon conversation. yennefer's finding her curiosity hard to quiet, so for a moment she just sort of watches her.

at the offer, though, yennefer smiles a bit. nods. ]

Do you have any that could scare off more of the mages? I am trying to keep them out of my room as much as I can.

[ and then, as if given the permission, yennefer steps a bit further into the mess of plants and vines, into hennessy's domain - if she'll let her. ]
