Thorne - OTA
Istredd usually sits a little distanced from others when eating although he is not against being joined, it simply comes by instinct for him to seek solitude first. He is also seen with books and notes there, often focused on his thoughts or those instead of anywhere else. While he is still building trust in Thorne, he can often be seen training lowest level classes for young mages, usually helping out teachers who have full loads. He is most used for creating magical wards and he is happy to teach others how to do that or create defensive shields.
He might be seen going into town and unsurprisingly at the local bookstore the Dragon's Keep. He gets along extremely well with the owner Thevan to the point where he's started becoming an employee of sorts, or at least a very helpful workhand who keeps everything neat and occasionally gets to take books back in exchange. While Istredd does come off as a solitary figure, he is welcoming when people approach him, not at all as standoffish as he may appear at first glance.

Nocwich - OTA
A tall man, he stands at the very back of the outdoor seating areas while watching performances. He doesn't seem particularly interested but there are cultural things worth knowing about for certain. If a play is going on that might give some clues, he is there with rapt attention. He doesn't really sit only looms in the back before wandering off.
In the taverns he is nursing a single drink for a long time, barely seeming to touch it, while reading and writing notes on what he's observed so far. Istredd shows no interest in gambling or hunting, although he might curiously find himself at the hot springs and take advantage since it's free. Thorne has good bathing but this seems like a unique opportunity.
Horizon - OTA
Once inside anyone who knows him would be unsurprised to find that it is literally a tower of books. A large sprawling library with multiple floors and seemingly endless shelves. There are numerous places within it that someone can create their own reading nook and design it with their mind, similar to how they make their own domain. Istredd's space is very sensitive to the minds of its visitors, perhaps a product of his own telepathy.
Anyone can pull a book down and find it filled in with whatever they can remember of any book they know from home. It is possible their subconscious mind recalls more than they think, although it will not fill in anything that cannot be gleaned from their memory. The pages can turn into pictures, photographs, or even moving images depending on what they want to see when they open it. They can take it from the shelves or reach out and find it directly in their hand.
Books that are memorized by Istredd himself always appear full or mostly full, so some tomes from the Witcher world are available. There are magic books in here that speak of Chaos and Order magic, the fundamentals of his realm's knowledge. There are now several books with academic knowledge from Thorne within, although they will only be filled with as much as he remembers. These only appear when Istredd himself is in his domain as it requires his mind to work.
Istredd is rarely found right away when walking into the domain, he can be anywhere in the many levels. However, he knows instantly when someone arrives due to his connection to the domain, and will occasionally pop out his head to see who it is. There is definitely a feeling in the domain of someone being there when he's in the Horizon, even if he can't be seen.
Outside of his own domain, Istredd can often be found at the Singularity itself. He likes sitting by it and reading or writing notes, especially currently considering he is preparing for a visit to the real Singularity. His guard is very much down when he's there and he seems hyperfocused on what he's doing.

Lucifer + Wanda - Shortly after Thanksgiving mingle
But he does decide to linger in his tower regardless and Lucifer's followed him in so he's not alone but with the type of company that doesn't bother him. He spends a great deal of time with Lucifer and they never seem to get on each other's nerves, somehow. Istredd is currently on the second floor with books in front of him on a desk. He's by the balcony up there so not hidden. He's been trying to fill in some extra academic magic texts that he memorized from the Thorne library so more people can potentially get a look at them. It takes time but it is very useful.
"Do you know anyone in Free Cities? I could use someone with access to a library there to possibly trade books in Nocwich next time it's available."
Istredd has not branched out much and currently he's of the mind he shouldn't bother. But this would be useful. He speaks loudly enough for Lucifer to hear him wherever he's wandered off to.
